In the last weekend of November 2020 Warsaw will once again turn into the cannabis business capital of East-Central Europe. The project that started three years ago has already established a new tradition in the industry – to meet at the Cannabizz fair, sum up the occurrences of the past year, and prepare for a fresh start in the year to come.
Since the first edition of Cannabizz in 2017, both the international and domestic cannabis industry experienced tremendous changes; as a result, nowadays Poland is becoming an essential player on the ever-growing European CBD market. Challenging the stereotype of a somehow conservative country, Poland has turned in the last years into one of the hotspots of the global hemp industry. The market is booming, the laws regulating hemp cultivation are clear, fair, and stable, and the public awareness of Cannabis has increased significantly.
The recently introduced medical cannabis law together with the huge CBD production and purchasing power of Polish customers keep attracting international investors to the country. It is also worth mentioning that Poland is not as eager as other countries to adopt the anti-CBD Novel Food Act, which means that we can expect this country – together with the whole region – to become the key market for the European CBD industry.
For all those who would like to stay up to date with the latest developments of the industry and expand their East-Central European contact base, we provide the platform for that. Thousands of visitors will gather in the largest and most modern expo venue in Warsaw – the GlobalExpo International Exhibition and Conference Center to exhibit, network and promote. With over 10 000 m² of the exposition space and hundreds of professionals attending, this is going to be the biggest cannabis-related event in Polish history. The expo will present a wide variety of different products for growing & indoor gardening, as well as seeds for collectors, lightning, paraphernalia, medicine and cosmetics will be.
Due to the success and growing interest in the scientific congress alongside the fair we observed in the last two years, we will continue to broadening the scope of the congress. During the whole weekend international experts, doctors, lawyers, businessmen and activists will share the real-life experience and knowledge with the interested public – the event will be accompanied by the conference covering topics from industrial applications of hemp to the cases of medicinal use of Cannabis, and, od course, its legal status.
